I have an admitted Amazon addiction. That 2 day Prime shipping gets me every time and I am very impatient when I order from other online retailers…serious first world problems right there.
If you haven’t ever browsed their fashion section…what are you waiting for? You can find amazing dupes for some of the current trends at amazing prices. This is especially awesome if you are unsure of the trend (most Prime fashion purchases have free returns) or have a feeling it may be a one season thing for you.
This is the first post in a series that I plan to add to frequently. So be sure that you follow me on instagram (link on the sidebar) so that you can stay up to date when these posts go up…and also for a real life view of the pieces I feature. I plan on wearing this baby to an Arts Festival we plan on attending this weekend.
I am not always the best at wearing dresses…but I have seen so many casual options lately that I really wanted to give it a go. I love the color and the peplum detailing at them hem. I am 5’5″ and this hits a just the right length for me.
Plus…this baby has pockets…I know that is a big selling feature for many gals!
Also…the earrings kinda make the outfit. I didn’t want to add too many accessories to compete with the beautiful tassels…so I just opted for a dainty necklace. You can’t really see them in all the pictures because of my hair…but this is a good display of them and even though they are big, they are lightweight and come in a variety of colors.
You can shop this look right here through my Amazon Affiliate Links at no extra cost to you!
I can see myself wearing this outfit through the fall and possibly into the colder months with tights or leggings…I didn’t feel like dying from heat exhaustion so I didn’t style that option.
And a shoutout to my little budding photographer daughter…she definitely helped me out to get this post up for you today! Having a spouse that does professional photography on the side is great and all…except when they have to work late at their real job on the one day you need them. ha!
